Between November 11th and 14th, 2015 the Ark Metropolis crew visited Barcelona on a preparatory trip. Interlocutors were among others the Barcelona City Council, the sustainability center “Fabrica del Sol”, the Goethe Institute and the branch office of the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain. The local top issue is the sustainable development of the city, which is being driven for more than 10 years with a total of around 800 stakeholders from all sectors of society, including the city administration.
